Inside Out Writers is a non-profit organization is based in South Los Angeles. They provides a creative writing program for incarcerated and justice-involved youth inside and outside of the juvenile hall. Their main mission is to heal these youth's trauma and support them to get back into to the normal society.

Identity system is inspired by hand writings which mirrors a true emotions and a young spirit of the youth. A main goal of a new system is to deliver a provocative and young voice of the youth to the community by utilizing expressive writing elements helping them to find a right voice to say to the society.
